Using Photoshop and After Effects to create an animated storyboard, using simple animation options.
Things to remember:
– When drawing in Photoshop, make sure your canvas is the same size as the resolution of your composition in After Effects (i.e 1920 x 1080)
– Draw everything that you plan to move, on separate layers.
– When importing your Photoshop files, make sure you select “Composition – Retain Layer Sizes” and NOT “Footage’.
– Set up your folders properly and save everything in one place. If you are to move your After Effects file, you need to move the whole folder, not just the After Effects file.
